What is the charge for rent collection?

Modified on Mon, 13 Mar 2023 at 02:56 PM

Yes, there is a transaction charge for rent collection.

Each transaction will be charged $4. This includes a pull from the tenant's account and a push to the landlord/property manager's account. This charge applies to EFT and Interac payments.

NOTE: There is an NSF charge of $5 for failed transactions which will be charged to the landlord. As most regions allow NSF admin fees, you can collect them from your tenant.

If you want to provide a debit/credit option, please contact our support team support@tenantcube.com. The transaction charges will vary based on the option.

All payment transactions will be processed, and you can track the statuses on Tenantcube.

1- Pending - funds have not yet started moving and are still in Tenant's bank account
2 - Processing - Funds have been withdrawn from the tenant's account but are not yet deposited in the landlord's account.
3. Paid - Money has successfully been transferred to the landlord's account
4. Failed - Payment transaction has failed for some reason (this would originate from Zum).
5 - Cancelled - The payment process has been stopped
